New design – SAME wi-fi issues
I returned previous model based on slow Wi-Fi connection, fan noise and hot spot in screen. New model was supposed to have fixed the issues, but same problem with Wi-Fi. Download speed is half of my old laptop. Sony support says there is no fix available. Support says the problem is the Broadcom internal card and offered no solution unless I would use a USB plug-in adapter. Fan noise is better and the new design layout is an improvement. Additional USB port and all are recessed on both sides. Please be aware of the Wi-Fi issue. I pay for 50/25 with Fios, but I can only get max 1/2 download speed now. Not a problem if your service is slower rated. My work gets 20/20 and this laptop gets both.

Everything is good excepts the poor battery.

NOT worth
This computer was NOT worth $1,399. It disconnects from the internet at least 10 times a day no matter where I am using it. I would rather use a computer from the 90\’s than this piece of crap.

Performance is not bad too………
Purchased the laptop after really alot of searches over the internet … what i would say , is this laptop has a pretty good balance between design and performance. The amount of money you were spending for dis laptop has a 70% share for its design and display as per me… the performance is not bad too tho… Look its certainly an entry level gaming laptop, and the keys are delicate too, so if you are into a bit medium level hardcore gaming , u have to make sure u re delicate with the keys, it has been only one month and i have started facing unresponsive key functions when i press \’em. The wi-fi adapter of this laptop sucks ! TRUST ME !
go for this one if u need a classy , a bit of show off, decent performance level.
Remeber one imp u have to be really delicate wid this laptop , otherwise it really wears out easily, happening wid me !
